Each bedroom area is named after an individual who played some part in the history of Wallace. The Pulaski Room is named after Edward Pulaski who saved his men during the “Great Fire” of 1910. The “Pulaski Tool” used by firefighters today was developed and named after Edward.
The Brosnan and Hamilton Rooms are named after Pierce Brosnan (007) and Linda Hamilton (Terminator) who starred in Dante’s Peak which was filmed in Wallace in 1997. To the best of our knowledge, they did not actually stay at Tabor House but, we wanted to honor their contribution to the area.
The Roosevelt Room was named in Honor of “Teddy” Roosevelt who visited Wallace in 1903. The “Left of the Center of the Universe” Room is named in honor of Wallace’s self proclaimed status as being the town that sits in the “Center of the Universe”
